Guide for Authors
The Journal welcomes original contributions from academics, researchers and policy makers and practitioners alike, and would be particularly pleased to receive material that draws on experience from case studies. The Journal also aims to encourage the submission of appropriate review papers from time to time. Topics of interest include (but not limited to):
¡¤ Decision-making and Policy Analysis in Transport Systems
¡¤ Planning, Design and Construction of Integrated Transport Systems
¡¤ Intelligent Transportation Systems and Information Technology
¡¤ Applications of Systems Engineering Theory and Methodology in Transportation
¡¤ Case Studies of Transport Modeling & Simulation Technologies
Any paper submitted should be no longer more than 10 journal pages (approximately 32 double-spaced A4 pages or 10,000 words) including figures and tables. The paper should include its title, an abstract of approximately 300 words, 4 to 8 keywords, the full names of the principal author and co-authors, together with their affiliation, full mailing address, fax and telephone numbers and e-mail address. An electronic file with pdf/doc format is also required in the paper submission.
All received papers will be reviewed by at least two anonymous referees and evaluated for originality, a clear statement of a hypothesis, experimental design, completeness of methods, thoughtfulness of the discussion, and conclusions that are supported by data in accordance with Editorial Board within three months. All accepted papers will be advised of referees¡¯ comments and suggested revisions where necessary before their publications.
