The Evolution of Urban Traffic Network of Dalian
Based on the Gather Fractal Feature

基于集聚分形的大连城市交通网络演变研究

Abstract: The fractal theory has already become a powerful tool in studying the city form complexity. Compared with other fractal research on city system and the transportation network in the region, the fractal researches on traffic network in the single city interior are few. According to the Dalian foundation map of 1:20000 in 1980, 1995 and 2004, this article has used the method which the length-radius and the branch-radius unify to portray the space and temporal evolution of urban traffic network in Dalian. The result indicates that, along with the city scale expansion and the urban network advancement to the suburb, the fractal characteristic of urban traffic network in Dalian is more and more obvious in time and space. The difference between the interior and exterior of the main urban area has reduced and the network connectivity has enhanced largely, but never has the obvious fractal characteristic in non-scale area changed obviously. This is related to the unique terrain and landform in Dalian. Simultaneously,the result also indicates that, during the evolution of the urban form in Dalian , the main urban area development has changed into the function replacement stage from the scale expansion stage. The group of urban areas taking the main city as the center relates closely to each other and develops on interaction. Finally, this article has embodied the particularity of the fractal theory application on urban traffic network in such port cities as Dalian based on the comparison with the research made before.

摘要: 分形理论已经成为研究城市形态复杂性的有力工具,相对于较多区域层面的城市体系和交通网络的分形研究而言,单个城市内部交通网络的分形研究较少。本文根据1980、1995和2004年大连市基础地图,运用分形理论,采用长度-半径和分支-半径相结合的方法刻画大连城市交通网络时空演变特征。结果表明:随着城市规模的扩大和城市交通网向郊区的推进,大连城市交通网络分形特征在时空尺度上都越来越明显,主城区内外之间的分维差值亦有所减小,网络连通性大幅提高,但具有明显分形特征的无标度区范围无明显变化。这既与大连独特的地形地貌有关,同时表明在大连组团式城市空间格局转变中,主城区发展已由扩容为主转向改造提升为主的功能置换阶段,以主城区为中心的各组团彼此紧密联系,互动发展。文章在此基础上对照已有研究成果体现了分形理论在大连这类港口城市交通网络应用中的特殊性。
