Abstract: In recent years, many railway hubs need to face the problem of capacity expansion and upgrading plan. Planning method of railway hub’s capacity expansion is explored in this paper. Based on the analysis of Yulin railway hub location and status, we point out the main issues of the hub that need to be solved. With the consideration of forecasting volume of railway freight and passenger，the general arrangement plan of Yulin railway hub is proposed．As the key, we propose the synthetic evaluation method and compares the planning schemes from six aspects including project quantities, capacity of line and throat, transport organization, construction transition, interferes to the transportation, cohesion of planning project, and costs.

摘要： 近年来，我国很多铁路枢纽面临着扩能改造的问题. 本文在分析铁路枢纽改建工程规划方法的基础上，通过对玉林铁路枢纽地理位置及现状的分析，指出玉林枢纽急待解决的主要问题. 通过分析枢纽预测客货运量，提出了枢纽的总布置方案，并从工程量、线路与咽喉能力、运输组织条件、施工过渡及行车干扰、与规划工程的衔接以及工程费用等6个方面对枢纽改造规划方案进行了综合比较分析.
