摘要： 我国的高速公路建设发展迅速，但是大量的超限违规车辆在高速公路上运行导致了高速公路使用寿命急剧下降，路面损坏非常严重，同时诱发了大量的交通拥挤，高速公路交通事故更是不断大幅上升，死亡人数持续增加。要彻底、有效地解决这些问题，必须在交通管理工作中采用系统的、综合的思路和方法。本文从道路交通管理的内涵，交通管理的主体和交通管理的手段等层面出发，对高速公路所面临的严重问题进行系统的分析和研究，并在此基础上提出相应的措施和办法.

Abstract: While the freeways increase so fast in China, a large amount of over-loaded trucks lead to sharp decreasing of the freeway lifespans and serious destruction of the pavements. Meanwhile,traffic congestions occur frequently and traffic accidents increase so rapidly on freeways. The systematic and comprehensive concepts and methods should be taken to solve the problems. Based on the composition, subjects and methods of road traffic management, the paper discusses the serious problems on freeways and gives some suggestions.
