Abstract: The paper introduces the structure and important effects of SS7 (Signaling System Number 7), and its linking layer and supervising methods are described. That supervising methods of SS7 will be important means of network operation and maintenance is putted forward. The paper prospects the benefits and business chance of SS7 supervising system to operating provider.
