Delivery Consolidation and
Stock Replenishment in VMI System

Abstract: According to the characteristic that customer demand less
Quantity and more times, an optimal model which consolidated stock replenishment and delivery scheduling was modeled to compute upper-level inventory Q and delivery cycle T,as well as to minimize long-run average cost in VMI-systems. Solution of this model also was researched. As example show, it is appropriate to take delivery Consolidation strategy when and AD are large, whereas, direct delivery strategy is appropriate.

摘要: 针对客户需求小批量、多批次配送的特点,建立了供应商管理库存(VMI)模式下供应商库存补充和配送整合策略优化模型,以计算整合策略中最高库存量Q和配送整合周期T,达到最小化长期平均期望总成本的目的,并探讨了其计算方法.算例表明,当参数 和AD较大时,适合采用配送整合策略,反之,适合用直接递送策略.
