A Unified Model for Different Traffic Flows

Abstract: Considering about each individual model’s disadvantage in
Zhang’s non - equilibrium continual traffic flow model, which are the model of phase A is not reasonable itself, although the model of phase B had some good properties,it is only the transition between phase A and phase C,
and the model of the phase C is unstable,and the fact that these three individual model can’t be reunified, the paper uses the same method to present a unified model based on the existing theory. Then the stability of the model is discussed and also linear stability of the new model is proved. Therefore,at last it is verified that the unified model can reflect the properties of traffic flow.

摘要: 针对Zhang所建立的非均衡连续交通流模型中的三个阶段模型各自的缺点,即第一阶段的模型本身并不合理,虽然第二阶段的模型具有很好的性质,但是这阶段仅仅是这三个阶段中的过渡阶段,第三阶段的模型是不稳定的,以及由此而产生的这三个模型不能从形式上统一起来的事实,采用同样的方法将这三个不同模型建立一个统一的连续模型,然后对这个模型进行了稳定性分析,并且还证明了它是线性稳定的.从而证明,这个统一模型能够很好地反映交通流的特性.
