Vehicle Conversion Factors Based on the Analysis of Occupancy Time

基于时间占有率分析的车辆折算系数研究

Abstract: Vehicle conversion factors are important parameter for capacity and service level of expressway. This paper analyzes the relation between occupancy time and vehicle conversion factors, and the calculating model of vehicle conversion factors based on the analysis of occupancy time is presented. Firstly, the traffic data need to be classified according to the vehicle speed and traffic composition, and two regression correlations among occupancy time, traffic density and traffic volume are developed. Secondly, the regression coefficients can be obtained through the practical data. Finally, vehicle conversion factors can be calculated through the differential and radio method. Data collected from Jing-Jin-Tang expressway shows that the presented approach can well reflect the difference of kinds of vehicles, and can be used to analyze the current situation of the specific traffic flow in China’s expressway.

摘要: 车辆折算系数是高速公路通行能力和服务水平研究的重要参数。在简要介绍国内外车辆折算系数计算方法的基础上,对时间占有率和车辆折算系数的关系进行分析,提出一种新的基于时间占有率的车辆折算系数计算模型。模型首先根据车辆速度和交通构成对交通检测数据进行分类,建立时间占有率、密度和交通量之间的相互关系模型;然后利用实测数据求得各模型的回归参数;进而采用微分比值的方法计算车辆折算系数。通过京津塘高速公路的数据验证,表明基于时间占有率分析的车辆折算系数能够反映车流中车型间的差异及相互影响,有助于特定交通流交通状况的分析。
