Abstract: The paper brings forward the diferent transit structure values according to diferent cities with their land usage situation on the relationship between transit structure 、urban shape、people density and city scale，It analyzes the optimization of transpo rtation structure considering the environment analysis，transpo rtation consumption and demand-supply．It has been experiencing the structure changing period for our country and the mega polis and big cities need to develop their own tran sit system in the sustained developing principles．

摘要： 根据中外城市发展的历程与特点，在研究城市交通结构、城市形态、人口密度、城市规模的基础上，以城市交通可持续发展为目标提出从土地利用角度考虑的不同城市交通结构建议值．进而在考虑交通环境、交通资源消耗与交通供求关系的基础上分析面向可持续发展的城市总体交通结构的优化．提出我国正处于交通结构调整时期，大城市、特大城市积极发展公共交通是在可持续发展战略指导下做出的合理决策．
