    YANG Xiao-bao,ZHANG Ning
    2006, 6(2): 14-17 .
    Abstract ( )   PDF (960KB) ( )
Aimed to solve the deficiency of determining car-following state, based on He’s method which uses the varying rule between the absolute value of relative speed difference and time headway, this paper presents a new method. This proposed method employs the varying rule between time headway and the relative coefficient of both leading and lag vehicles on the basis of analyzing the surveyed data. Compared with former methods, the improved Method considers more information and links with the fact closer. This research may have an important role in heightening the precision and reliability of microscopic traffic simulation.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (1352KB) ( )
This paper gives an overview of Internet Mapping and discusses its real usage for the supervision of vehicle. First, according to the services offered and to the techniques used,a classification of Internet Mapping is proposed . Then, based on the above discussion, this paper presents an Internet Mapping realized by the author, WebVehicleSuper, which in fact is a supervision system of vehicle based on GPS,GSM,and WebGIS through Internet. As a consequence of object-oriented programming and distributed architecture,WebVehicleSuper is very flexible and extensible, which is suitable for the developing tendency of WebGIS. It makes a nice tradeoff between performance and cost. Experimentally, this system can totally satisfy the needs of vehicle supervision with moderate system volume.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (1269KB) ( )
In this paper, the developing trend of the process and application about urban parking guidance and information system(PGIS) is comprehensively concluded from the oversea cities including Europe,German, America and Japan and domestic cities including Beijing,Guangzhou and Nanjing. On the basis of the conclusion, the paper sums up the insufficiencies of PGIS at present. Aiming to make up for the insufficiencies,it assumes for setting up three-dimensional service network and respects the future development on the aspects of points, lines and surfaces. And then,Urban PGIS in future is conceived to carve up before-trips and in-trips two subsystems. Thus, it will supply parking guidance information from excessive channels and all-around orientations. In the end, brief structure model for urban PGIS in future is brought forward.

    SHI Zhi-min,GAO Hui,FU Bin,WANG Yan-guang
    2006, 6(2): 31-37 .
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1386KB) ( )
Global Information System(GIS)being used successfully in ITS is due to managing massive spatial geography data, reasonably organizing spatial data, and rapidly searching spatial objects. Building spatial indexing to spatial data is an important way of managing spatial data and advancing search speed. Based on the AR2W2 - SFC curve model, this paper puts forward an implemented method by Vertex-labeling and applies the model to the spatial indexing. After the experimental study,it is found that the performance of indexing of AR2W2 - SFC curve is better than that of Hilbert curve when the height of quad-tree is lowered and the curve is adopted as the spatial indexing of point objects.

    Alternative Vehicle Fuels
    WEI Zhen-lin,SHEN Jin-sheng,HUANG Ai-ling
    2006, 6(2): 62-65 .
    Abstract ( )   PDF (844KB) ( )
The method of Life Cycle Assessment(LCA)of vehicle energy is more systematic and comprehensive than Environmental Impact Assessment(EIA)that is generally only applied in the phase of energy consumption, but in comparison of vehicle alternative fuel, because of the particularity of operating environment of vehicles, which will lead to great difference of environmental damage by the same quantity of pollutant in different phases, the traditional LCA can’t assess the environmental effects of different vehicle alternative fuels exactly. Therefore, based on summarizing LCA of vehicle fuel, this paper puts forward weight coefficients in different phases calculated in terms of the marginal environmental damage cost, and improves the method of LCA of vehicle fuel,to make it adapted to appling in comparative analysis between different environmental impacts of different vehicle alternative fuels. Finally,a demonstrative analysis is carried out between fuel cell vehicle and gasoline vehicle.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (1222KB) ( )
Considering both social and individual behaf,a multiple objective function model is developed, based on the area of the occupied road, travel cost and congestion degree of travelers chasing public traffic. The scale between taxi traffic mode and the public traffic mode is figured out from the mode1.which is used to calculate the taxi traffic mode split rate in the full-mode traffic structure. The results indicate that the method is simple and convenient;macroscopic policy and its microcosmic influence are interacted,It not only can forecast the taxi traffic mode split rate, but can provide theoretic support for the traffic policy decision-maker.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (1471KB) ( )
Traffic congestion is a natural outcome when the cities develope to a certain leve1.With the economic fast developing in our country, more and more,big-sized and medium-sized cities aye faced with serious traffic congestion, which is a fatal bottleneck of urban sustained development. Congestion pricing,an efective measure of traffic demand management attracts large-scale attentions as a result of more and more urban traffic congestion. Congestion pricing can implement traffic demand management by pricing mechanism, and control individual motor traffic demand in order to make urban traffic structure incline to public traffic and improve comprehensive eficiency of urban traffic.Based on the actuality of Beijing, considering the successful experience of London, this paper discusses the feasibility to actualize the congestion pricing in Beijing.
