摘要： 城市居民的出行交通方式是多种多样的，不同的交通方式不仅有其存在的客观原因，而且，它们之间还会因为某些外界条件的变化而发生相应的转化。这种转化通常会对城市交通系统的未来发展产生深远的影响。本文将根据不同交通方式的特性，从出行的不同维度的特性出发，找出不同的出行维度与各交通方式之间的关系，分析不同交通方式之间转化的原因及其规律。并运用相关经济学理论，进一步给出不同交通方式之间转化的经济学解释。

Abstract: There are many ways of urban residents’traffic mode. Diferent modes have diferent reasons for their existence and they can transform from each other because of the change of the environment. Such transformation can usually affect the future development of an urban traffic system. This paper tries to find out the relationship between different outgoing dimensions and different traffic modes and tries to analysis the cause and the law of the transformation between different traffic modes based on the different properties of traffic modes and outgoing dimensions. It also tries to give an economic explanation of the transformation among different traffic modes according to the relavent economic theory.
