Abstract: Based on study of sufficiency & necessity of implementing transportation informatization,the paper puts forward framework of transportation information system adapting to China , correlative technologies and measures promoting development of urban transportation informatization of China and also advances the conception of social information system . Especially , it analyses technical characteristic of transportation information collection , processing and service which provides some suggestion on direction of constructing ITS architecture and develop Chinese transportation information technology.
The paper discusses resource and value of transportation information that have referenced value & significance for us develop communication domain.

摘要： 在探讨我国实现交通信息化充分必要性的基础上,研究提出了适应于我国实际的交通信息系统的基本框架、交通信系化所关联的基本技术，以极推进我国城市交通信息化的对策和措施。研究中还提出了以交通为代表的社会信息系统的概念，特别关于交通信息的采集、处理、服务的技术特征作了系统的分析，为发展中国的交通信息技术，构筑ITS结构体系指出了方向，奠定了基础。另外，论文讨论了交通信息的资源性和有价行，为尚处在低利用状态的信息基础设施，创造出“信息需求”，为发展我国的交通信息产业具有重要的参考意义和价值。
