Abstract: In recent years, the development of several new system integration methods and technologies provide basic for establishing new and advanced railway passenger transportation service system both on-board train and land-stations, which includes the service oriented architecture (SOA), virtualization simulation, workflow, configuration, and data mining, and so on. Based on a general design of passenger services system framework supported by SOA and other related technologies, the paper presents the system service model, enterprise service bus, information integration and sharing platform, as well as the public data switching scheme. It also documents the application of some key technologies. This newly developed system is highly manageable and expandable with advantages of comprehensive data sharing, efficient resources distribution, and easy to expand. Potentially, it can fulfill all service and management needs that CRPTS may raise in current and future business practice.
