Abstract: The theories and methods of developing transportation during the planned economy system were played a role in the particular time and economic environment, but the market economy system is very different from the planned economy system. It is necessary to develop the new theories to make the guide to deal with the transport and economic development after entering into th e market economy. It is very important for set up the theories system of transport science according to market economy theories. The applied theories of the transport field should be set up on the substantial phenomenon of transportation, to give the hypothesis using the economic theory，and then will suppose to explain the transport areas, forming the transport theories in order to guide and establish the theories system of the transport in China.

摘要： 计划经济体制下发展交通运输的理论、方法，在特定时期和特定经济环境下，起到过一定的作用，但在市场经济体制下，它已经显得格格不入，要求我们要有新的理论作指导来完成交通运输对促进经济发展的任务。应用已成熟的市场经济理论，分析和解释我国的交通运输现象，从而建立和完善我国交通运输学科的理论体系，是我国交通运输学科基础理论研究的一项重要任务。交通领域的应用理论，应以交通领域中真实的现象为出发点，用经济理论推出我们的假设，然后将假设解释到我们的交通领域，形成交通理论，以此来指导并建立我国交通运输的理论体系。
