Traffic State Evaluation Method for Guangzhou Urban Road Network and Its Application in the 16th Asian Games

广州市路网交通状态评价方法及其在亚运交通管控分析中的应用

Abstract: To analyze traffic state of large urban road networks, a network scaled traffic state evaluation method is proposed for Guangzhou city. It is based on the comparative analysis of the evaluation research of traffic operation and traffic congestion. The core of the method is the spatiotemporal accumulation of traffic congestion according to the average travel speed of road sections. Consider different weights of different road sections, the congestion index and the mobility index are used to analyze traffic congestion and mobility performance. Through calculation of the indicators, the results show the effect of the traffic management of 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, including the traffic congestion and traffic mobility features. Empirical analysis shows that combination of network scaled congestion and mobility index is more sensitive than average travel speed of road sections and can reflect the actual traffic state from different aspects.

摘要: 为了对广州等大城市的路网交通状态进行评价分析,本文在比较分析国内外学者对交通运行及交通拥堵评价领域研究工作的基础上, 提出了以路段平均行程车速为计算依据, 以交通拥堵里程时间的时空累积量与路段影响权重为计算核心的广州市路网交通状态评价指标. 从路网交通拥堵指数及交通运行效率指数两方面对广州市路网交通运行状态进行分析评价, 分别考察路网拥堵状态和运行效率.通过指标计算和结果分析, 展现了广州市2010年亚运机动车单双号限行前后的交通拥堵特征及交通运行效率特征.实例分析表明, 该指标组合能够比较敏感地从不同角度反映路网实际交通状态.
