Abstract: Transport infrastructure is an essential part of one city and may also restrict its development without proper growth. In recent years, the transport infrastructure investment has been improved significantly. However, due to various reasons, the municipal transport infrastructure does not perform well as expected. According to the status of municipal transport infrastructure projects, and combined with the construction project evaluation theory, the paper analyzed the status of municipal transportation construction projects and the characteristic of projects post-project evaluation, and then put forward its evaluation content system of municipal transport. It also took the transport infrastructure reconstruction project of Yuanmingyuan West Road in Beijing as an example for post-project evaluation, and then analyzed the entire proceeding, application, implementing goals, and sustainability of the project.
