Abstract: Research is to identify the major factors influencing the sustainable development of unban mobility in China and its working mechanism through analyzing the current situation,the existing problems and the challenges in the context of rapid urbanization and energy security.Based on these objectives,academic system for the sustainable urban mobility system will be established through rigorous academic; policy proposals will be put forth through researching the situation of polices implementation of urban transport; and finally demonstration programs will be carried out to support the formation of academic system and policy proposals in the research to put forth the theoried, methods, experience and demonstrations from the perspectives of multiple disciplines including urban, transport, energy, environment, vehicle and policy.
